Meditation, then shamanism, were part of my path to awakening.

What came after my first direct experience of my oneness with our Source as pure Spirit (in 2017) was “A Course in Miracles” as well as Gary Renard‘s 4 books containing the discussions Gary had with the 2 ascended masters Arten and Pursah.

In one of these 4 books by Gary Renard “The lifetimes when Jesus and Buddha knew each other – Gary Renard” the ascended masters talk about ayahuasca like this:

“Remember, what you experience under the influence of a hallucinogen is not real. Yes, you could argue that none of this is real either, and you’d be right. But it’s possible to come to the exact same realizations people have while taking ayahuasca without taking the drug. And that’s the path we recommend.”

Notes from Ananda (expert in the field with over 200 ceremonies):

It’s worth noting the difference between ayahuasca and mushrooms: these are not the same plants, and the active molecule is different between ayahuasca and mushrooms. Ayahuasca contains DMT (Dimethyltryptamine), whereas the mushrooms used in ceremonies contain psilocybin. However, it’s not the plant itself that I wish to draw your attention to…

I understand Arten and Pursah’s reticence about using ayahuasca, because in shamanism there’s also duality…

The shamanic traditions linked to ayahuasca come from Central America and encompass a whole host of folklore linked to human beliefs of the past which have little to do with Awakening to our Source.

There’s a lot of idolatry in their folklore, which is not at all what I was guided towards in the shamanic ceremonies with psilocybin, because I was already beforehand an assiduous meditator in truth seeking (Inner) : God and nothing else. So when I started doing shamanic ceremonies in 2012, the same intention I’d had with meditation just continued with psilocybin.

In my experience, it’s really the purity of the intention that counts, not the plant. And yes, you can achieve the same result without the help of these plants.

Incidentally, I note that Arten and Pursah state that it is possible to achieve “exactly the same realizations“, and therefore they validate that the direct experience of certain ceremonies is THE SAME as Self-realization, but without the plants.

I quickly understood after several dozen ceremonies and Samadhis (and a return to the illusion of the dream body and character) that shamanic ceremonies can give a real glimpse of Reality beyond the veil, but that in no case would this be permanent unless the ego had been totally dissolved (you can’t “cheat” God, after all).

There is therefore an inner work to be done, a renunciation of illusions, the work of true forgiveness and ONE CHOICE of the Spirit WITHOUT COMPROMISE to achieve Liberation (Moksha), which is what “A Course in Miracles” as well as Arten and Pursah emphasize in their teachings.

So it’s only natural that Arten and Pursah don’t recommend this practice to the general public, especially as I’ve already mentioned, given the traditional as well as modern use of shamanism for magical purposes linked to the illusory world of dreams.

However, I can assure you that I have been well guided by the Pure Spirit in the use of mushrooms in ceremonies, in order to guide my brothers and sisters on the right path to Spirit Awakening. Through purity of intention, it becomes a tool at the service of the Spirit to help on the path to Awakening.

It’s temporary and illusory, of course, but it can help along the way for those who feel guided. The aim is to provoke a direct experience of pure Spirit (Samadhi), pure Love, dissolution of the small self and inner opening onto the infinite Love of our true Self or Pure Spirit.

Here’s a recent example: listen carefully to this testimony:

I’ve had dozens of testimonials like this one, from brothers and sisters who were used to traditional ceremonies and who switched from the world of magical illusions to inner truth during a ceremony in the Presence, or from others who hadn’t done ceremonies before but who also understood that the path I was recommending must be the right one, because the result directly experienced during the ceremony was undeniably miraculous and obviously “not of this world”.

The path I’m advocating is obviously not one of repeated ceremonies to catch temporary glimpses of Heaven, but that of the course in miracles or the teachings of Arten and Pursah. There’s an inner work to be done that no plant, no ceremony, will ever replace. It happens by God’s grace when we stop opposing His Will.

I‘ve been guided along this path, and I can testify here that, properly used, these ceremonies are a precious help. They help to strengthen faith, increase determination to Awaken, improve understanding of spiritual teachings and their application to daily life, which is THE WAY to Spiritual Awakening and thus to the end of the cycle of births and deaths.

For those who feel guided and want to experience it for themselves, I invite you to join me in Peru for an intensive 9-day retreat:
